How to Insert Photos & GIFs Into Google Slides

You can insert photos from your gallery and also use the URL link to insert an image from the Google search engine or any browsing website. You can also upload an image from Google Drive or Google Photos. You can also capture photos instantly from your device to bring in your Google Slide presentation. In this article, we will teach you how you can insert images and GIFs into your Google Slide presentation.

1) Uploading Animated GIF and Images From Computer

Here are the steps on how you can insert pictures and Animated GIF into your Google Slide presentation from your computer:-

1. Launch Google Slides Presentation on your device.
2. Tap on the insert icon that appears on the top of the screen.
3. After tapping on the Insert icon, a popup appears on the screen, which the first result is Upload from the computer.
4. Tap on the Upload computer and select the image you want to insert.
5. Search the image on your PC and insert the image into your Google Slide presentation.
6. If you are select a static picture, and then the picture will be shown on the Slide where you have inserted.
7. Animated GIFs will also preview on the same screen quickly.
8. You can also crop the inserted image as you like to insert in the Slide.

2) Inserting Animated GIFs and Image Using URL

 Google Slide will allow inserting the image and GIF from the browser using URL. You can upload images files into Google Slide, including animated GIFs from the GIPHY source. Here you need to sure to permission to use the link to an external picture file before you have inserted in the Google Slide presentation.

Here are the steps on how you can insert images and animated GISs into your Google Slide using URL:-

1. Launch your Google Slides Presentation.
2. Go to the Slide where you want to insert images.
3. Tap on the insert icon that appears on the top of the screen.
4. After tapping on the Insert icon, a popup appears on the screen, which results show By URL.
5. Tap on the By URL and then paste the URL in the box where you want to insert the image.
6. If you choose the correct URL, then URL will be quickly replaced by the image preview that you have selected as a static picture or GIFs.
7. Tap on the Insert option to add GIFs and images that you have selected into your Google Slides presentation.

3) Inserting Animated GIFs and Images From the Google Photos and Google Drive

Users can insert the picture from Google Drive and Google Photos in their Google Slides Presentation directly. Here are the steps on how you can insert Animated GIFs and images into your Google Slide presentation from Google Drive and Google Photos or clouds:-

1. Start your Google Slides Presentation and tap on Insert.
2. After tapping on the Insert icon, a popup appears on the screen, which results in the show Drive or Photos option.
3. When you tap on the Photos, you are on the photos gallery where you can choose one or multiple photos.

4) Capturing and Inserting Images From the Camera

3. Here you need to allow Google chrome permission to access your camera.

5) Inserting Picture via Google Search

Google Slides allow to user to insert images from the Google browser search capabilities to search the images and insert in the Presentation directly from the Google search presentation.

1. Start the Google Slide presentation.
2. After tapping on the Insert icon, a popup appears on the screen which results show Search the Web.
3. After tapping on the search, the Web goes to the browser where you have to search the images and choose.
4. Your chosen images will insert in the Google Slide presentation.
5. You can also double-tap on the search image to insert in the Google Slide directly.
